About MSIG Sokxay Insurance
MSIG Sokxay Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between Sokxay Chaleun Karnkhar Sole Company Limited from Laos and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited from Japan. MSIG Sokxay operates as a general insurance company, offering diverse insurance solutions that meet the needs of all customer groups, including individuals, businesses, companies, organizations, and other sectors. Currently, we have 3 provincial branches in Luang Prabang, Savannakhet, and Champasak, and we are expanding our branch network to cover the entire country. We are ready to serve with our company’s vision: “MSIG-Sokxay Insurance Friendship Forever”

How We Became MSIG Sokxay Insurance
Founding Roots
MSIG Insurance (Lao) Co., Ltd was established in 2009 as a joint venture between MSIG (51% equity) and the Ministry of Finance, offering risk consultancy and claim management services since 2010.
Sokxay Insurance Origins
Founded in 2018 by Sokxay Chaleun Karnkhar Sole Co., Ltd, Sokxay Insurance specialized in Motor and Health Insurance services (Personal Accident and Group Health).
Partnership Evolution
Collaboration between MSIG Lao and Sokxay Insurance began in 2019, with thorough due diligence conducted from 2020 to 2022, paving the way for integration.
Our New Era
In June 2023, MSIG-Sokxay Insurance Co., Ltd launched as an integrated company, marking a milestone in the Lao insurance market.
