On January 19, 2026, at the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Sockxay Somchainuek, Chairman of Sokxay Group, donated 9,999,999,999 kip (nine billion nine hundred ninety-nine million nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine kip) to the Saravan Provincial Administration, represented by Mr. Padermphone Sonthani, Chairman of the Saravan Provincial Administrative Committee, and witnessed by Mr. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister, with the participation of the Minister of Public Works and Transport, the Deputy Minister of Finance, and relevant parties.
The funds will be used to continue the construction of the Se Don River Bridge (Ban Boualapha – Ban Tan Pyaw area), Khong Se Don District, Saravan Province. This is an important bridge connecting Lau Nga District and Khong Se Don District, Saravane Province and Sekong Province will help facilitate travel for society and people, as well as save travel time.
